Founded by Thomas Heinfart, who previously worked in energy efficiency products in North America and Canada, Solar Hero aims to minimize the cost of maintaining single-family homes using appropriate technologies. Heinfart has several patents in renewable energy, including the floating solar panel that won the EON Energy Oscar in 2019. Recognizing that Earth’s gas and oil reserves are sufficient for only 50-60 years, Solar Hero advocates for a net-zero energy state through solar energy methods. The company’s goal is to provide clean, sustainable energy to society as soon as possible.
